The Muslim Graduate Students' Association at the University of Michigan has invited Shireen Pishdadi to speak at their conference on Islam & Social Justice. Her workshop focuses on the significance of environmental ethics in Islam, and how to intrepret those ethics within the context of a consumption-oriented society. The workshop will also discuss environmental links to social justice.
