The First Mennonite Church of Champaign-Urbana's Service and Outreach committee is sponsoring a showing of the movie "Bag It," a documentary about the impact that individual-use plastic bags has on our environment, and how plastics in general affect our waterways, oceans, and even our bodies. This is a moving film and is particularly relevant as Champaign discusses banning the use of plastic bags. A discussion following the film will be led by Angela Adams, the City of Champaign's Recycling Coordinator. Please plan to come, and feel free to invite anyone who is interested in this topic.
