The success of Mother Carr's Farm in growing the health and well-being of our children will be celebrated at Covenant United Church of Christ on Saturday, March 7th, 12 - 3 PM.

"Fed Up," a documentary will be shown at 12:45 PM. Produced and narrated by Katie Couric, the film examines the truth behind America’s biggest health crisis, "obesity” and how our children have been intentionally targeted by those who have profited from this health crisis.

Doors open at noon--come early to visit informational tables about Mother Carr's Organic Farm, a "congregationally supported agriculture" program of Vernon Park Church of God, as well as other exhibits about producing healthy, sustainable food for communities across Chicagoland.

Following the film will be a grant check ceremony to Mother Carr's Farm from Faith in Place and Farmer Anothony Williamson will show a slide presentation of the farm, its accomplishments, and how to get involved in this innovative CSA program!

Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP your attendance!
