"Inspiring Hope Through Action"

Register for the event.

An interactive conference to address common barriers to climate change action and galvanize community efforts to address them.

We’re shifting the conversation from, “Is climate change real?” to “How do we work together on solutions ensuring climate justice for everyone?” Keynote presentation by The Climate Reality Project will focus on overcoming barriers to action. Jerome McDonnell, host of WBEZ’s global affairs program Worldview, will moderate a panel of experts who are leaders in the environmental movement, organizing, politics, and business.

In workshops we will take actions focused on positive results and discuss how to sustain action into the future through a new online community collaboration tool: www.ConnectionsForAction.Solutions. A session on how to avoid burn out and how to stay hopeful in the face of such daunting challenges will also be held.

We will focus on individual and collective actions to reduce money’s influence in our democracy, to build public momentum, and to more effectively communicate with our communities about the importance of action.

A $10 donation, payable at the door on the day of the conference, is requested to help cover an on-site luncheon.

Registration is due by April 4th. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event but the complimentary luncheon options might be limited for those attendees.
