Want to make your faithful voice heard on environmental issues in our state government, but not sure what to do to make a difference?

Join us on Saturday, April 25 (please note the change in date) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a Faithful Citizen Workshop at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC).

The workshop is free and open to the public.

This workshop is a great opportunity to learn more about activism, organizing, and social responsibility as people of faith to respond to climate justice issues. Faith in Place Policy Director, Rev. Booker Steven Vance, will speak about legislation that has been introduced to increase investments in renewable energy, reduce our energy use, and create jobs and save money for families throughout the state.

It will also be helpful preparation for our upcoming Earth Day Rally for Clean Jobs and Climate Action on April 22nd! Bus transportation to the rally in Springfield will be available from many pick-up locations throughout the city and suburbs, including locations in Hyde Park and the South Side. Learn more about the rally and register today for your seat on the bus>>
